Langham Oaks School supports 69 pupils with special educational needs, including approximately 28 boarders accommodated on the first floor of the new building.
Project Overview
UK Acoustic Systems was appointed to supply MCW Fabric Panels for the newly constructed teaching areas. Acoustic performance was particularly important due to the pupils’ sensitivity to sensory processing and the need to create calm, comfortable learning spaces.
The wall-mounted panels absorb reflected sound, helping to control reverberation and reduce echo throughout the teaching areas. At 40mm thick, the MCW Fabric Panels provide Class A sound absorption, delivering effective acoustic control alongside a high-quality fabric finish.
