ScreedPro™ Q-Therm UFH System
The ScreedPro™ Q-Therm UFH system leverages the durability of high-density ScreedPro™ dry screedboards, integrated with pre-routed XPS insulation and versatile acoustic options. This system provides a comprehensive solution for diverse project requirements, ranging from low-profile installations to raised floors designed for service voids.
The Q-Therm UFH range comprises three distinct options, each engineered to provide a specific technical solution for flooring requirements.

Q-Therm 1
The Q-Therm 1 is our premier low-profile solution, featuring a total build-up starting from just 48mm (prior to final floor finishes). This tiered system is engineered for thermal efficiency and acoustic performance:
- Acoustic Base Layer: 5mm ImpactaRubber, a recycled rubber acoustic insulation that significantly reduces impact noise transmission between floors.
- Thermal Insulation: 25mm XPS 300 (300 kPa) board. These boards are pre-routed to accommodate 12mm or 16mm UFH piping and are foil-faced to maximize heat upward transfer.
- Conductive Finish: 18mm ScreedPro dry screedboard. This high-density layer offers exceptional thermal conductivity, ensuring rapid heat transfer to the floor finish with minimal thermal resistance.
This configuration provides a high-performance acoustic floor that mitigates both impact and airborne sound while simplifying the UFH installation process.
*For projects requiring greater build-up heights, ScreedPro boards are also available in 25mm, 28mm, and 30mm thicknesses.
Q-Therm 2
The Q-Therm 2 is our high-performance UFH system integrated with an Acoustic Cradle and batten system. This configuration is specifically engineered to provide significant acoustic reduction of impact and airborne noise while creating a practical void for services.
- Acoustic/Support Layer: Acoustic Cradle and batten system, providing impeccable sound reduction and allowing for precise adjustment in the raising and leveling of the floor.
- Thermal Insulation: A specialized UFH bracket and XPS board, designed to sit between the battens or joists to minimize total build-up height while accommodating UFH piping.
- Conductive Finish: 18mm ScreedPro dry screedboard, which sits on top of the batten system to provide a high-density, thermally efficient floor surface.
This system ensures a perfectly level finish with superior acoustic performance, making it ideal for projects requiring service routing within the floor build-up.

Q-Therm 3
The Q-Therm 3 builds upon the Q-Therm 2 framework, incorporating an enhanced heat distribution system for increased thermal efficiency. This configuration replaces the standard foil-faced insulation with a heat-conductive spreader plate system, ensuring superior heat transfer to the floor surface while maintaining acoustic and leveling performance.
- Acoustic/Support Layer: Acoustic Cradle and batten system, providing impeccable sound reduction and allowing for precise adjustment in the raising and leveling of the floor.
- Thermal Insulation: Pre-routed XPS board paired with a heat-conductive spreader plate system, designed to fit between battens or joists for optimal heat distribution and minimized build-up.
- Conductive Finish: 18mm ScreedPro dry screedboard, which sits on top of the batten system to provide a high-density, thermally efficient floor surface.
This system ensures a perfectly level finish with superior acoustic performance and enhanced heat output, making it ideal for projects where maximum thermal efficiency and service routing are required.
